Stillwater Cove

The Residences at Stillwater Cove in Smithfield Rhode Island is to become a new community based development consisting of 32 townhouse style and single level condominiums. The goal for the developer was to have a design which would be flexible enough to house a variety of unit types, without adding complexity to the construction process. The project became an exercise in speed and iteration, quickly experimenting with the massing of both single units as well as multiple units. This was done in order to provide the client with a site specific and cohesive development plan.

Stillwater Cove has 3 building types, utilizing 4 floor plans used in a variety of combinations.
