The owners of this 1995 contemporary home in Cranston RI needed to make some changes. The owners had a list of exterior and interior renovations which would not only update the home but provide more of the types of space their growing family needed. The first step was to revitalize the front elevation, adding a new front entry porch and introducing a broader material pallet and lighting.
In the interior, the kitchen/mudroom was renovated to make for a comfortable place for family as well as the open floor plan for entertaining. Combining the material pallet from the kitchen with the custom built in fireplace surround not only created a visual relationship but blended the renovated spaces into the existing home design for a cohesive language for the home.
