Extended Gable

 

Our clients wanted to add  a en suite and master closet to their gambrel roofed home.  The clear location was above a previous one story addition toward the rear of the house.  The continuation of the gambrel roof allowed a small About of square footage to be added to the project, while maintaining the existing aesthetic of the home.

 

The entry to the Master bath begins passing through his and hers closet space, giving the feeling of a walk in while tucking storage into the roof line.    The bathroom organizes along a line of symmetry off of the centered spa tub.  His and Hers vanities flank the doorway while an enclosed water closet and shower stall booked the tub.   The space is completed with a tile floor with tile patterned boarder.
