(re)Developed Identity

The owners of One Custom House in Providence requested each floor of their building be renovated into modern office suites.  Every floor has been uniquely designed, while creating an overall cohesive aesthetic throughout the building.  We helped create an identity for their business, the final floor, with a focus on modern lines and finishes.

The face of the watch or the gears beneath, the hood of the car or the engine within, the aspiration to climb the ladder or the goal for reaching the top.  These are the ideas used while sculpting their space and understanding the logic of the relationships to the floors below.

The fifth floor of the Custom House Building was designed for a growing local developer who wanted to expand their office to the floor above.  Our client wanted a similar look to their fourth floor boutique style office, which was previously designed by Lacuna Design.  The concept was to create a culmination of the previous schemes on the floors below. The spaces can be viewed as borrowing from the previous design or the possibly of an origin.
